As a birthday present to myself, I’m going to Worldcon/Chicon 7.  YEAH!  It was an expenive ass convention ticket.  But hey, If I don’t celebrate the day of my birth who will?  I’m super excited to be going now because the con is giving out voter packets, which are electronic copies of the works nominated for the Hugo Award.  OMG!  You know what that means?!? Do ya, do ya?!?  It means free books.  Free fucking awesome books by freaking great authors.  Amazon and its 99 cent specials be damned.  I can vote now and my vote will be informed cause I would have read the actual books.  ::squee::

Lets see how far i getting in reading these babies.  I have a few vacations coming up, so I should have plenty of time to read these while I’m sitting on the side of the pool pretending to watch my kids swim.  YEAH! Sometimes… I really, really, really love my life! ::tears of joy::  Yes, free books, free great books, make me that happy.
